One Lord - Different Cultures

Free

the heart-beat and the stories of indigenous Christians from around the world, including God's protocols for working together as stewards of His land

One LORD - different cultures

compiled by John Blacket from the stories and heartbeat of indigenous Christians from around the world at the World Christian Gathering on Indigenous People

A shorter, simpler-english version of Chosen: By God to Redeem Cultures, by John Blacket & Reg Yates, which is no longer in print

The sounds, dances and other expressions of the indigenous people which are dedicated to Jesus Christ

• The richness of God's creation as every instrument of His orchestra plays in harmony
• The church is the Body of Christ, but it is handicapped and crippled because of the lack of real partnership between the hands and the feet and all the parts God created it to use in the true unity of its diversity

"There is a new wave reaching the shores of the Christian and non-Christian worlds.
The wave is in the form of the sounds, dances and other expressions of the indigenous people, which are dedicated to Jesus Christ. From the heart, indigenous people are declaring themselves as followers of Jesus. He is our warrior leader, the one leading us into true liberation and freedom from the pangs of poverty, deprivation and control by others.

The Lord is teaching us to stand in the identity that he has created us in. This book illustrates the reality of this wave. It speaks of a Gathering which was led by the Aboriginal people of Australia, and which was supported by other indigenous people from throughout the world and by people of non-indigenous backgrounds. The Lord was glorified in this Gathering. "

- Monte Ohia, Maori leader and Founder/Co-Ordinator of the World Christian Gathering on Indigenous People
